Sample Answer 1
The world is becoming so competitive, and people are more ambitious and competing than before. Education is a basic need of today’s world to get success in their life. Knowledge makes us mentally and socially active. This saying ‘Education is not a luxury, but a basic human right, so should be provided free’ this notion merits consideration.
To begin with, education is necessary for everyone. Without training and knowledge, a human is like a numb animal. It is human’s mindset to ignore the value of free things. If education is provided free, then it will reduce the quality of education. A lot of students will not take training seriously because it will be, and there will be no burden of fees. “If failed once then will start again in next year” this will be the mentality of every student and parents also. It will lower the performance of professors and teachers also. Even its not possible to make education free for the government. Also, because of the high population.
There are other possible ways to improve the standard of education. Rather than making education free, some new scholarships can be introduced based on merit or income etc. For instance, there is a scholarship named “Swami Vivekanand Scholarship” for the single girl child and “Inspire Scholarship” provided by the government of India to the students who rank in top 1% in 12th standard examinations. It will make students more bright and motivated.
To conclude with, education is a protective sheath (guard) to fight against all the ups and downs of life. We should get it by hard work for a better future.

It becomes a controversial topic that education is not a luxury, and it should be free for everyone. Many people argue that there are a lot of expenses for schools nowadays, so they cannot provide education for free while others perceive that education-system should take steps to give knowledge at no cost. I firmly believe that in this modern era, it becomes our basic need to grow, so it should be given at a low cost as much as possible. I will elaborate on my views in the forthcoming paragraphs and lead to a plausible conclusion.
To begin with, there is a lot of positive aspect of giving education for free. Firstly, education is a pillar of the success of any nation, or we can say, for the expansion of the country, it requires that all country’s people should have the proper education. So, it should be provided for free or at low cost. To giving knowledge at low prices will encourage all the people to be educated. Secondly, it also, develop the feeling of equality among the pupils when they get the same equal knowledge in similar ways. Thirdly, it will decrease the chances of demolishing of useful talent. For instance, providing the best education for free will create the right talent who will fruitful for the development of the nation. Hence, it is clear how free knowledge will propitious for entire residents.
On the contrary, some people who hold the opposite notion are saying that it is not possible to provide useful knowledge for free. Because schools, colleges have numbers of investments like the construction of buildings, electricity bills, all types of efficient equipment are costly. All these expenses are increasing the cost of study.
